The expedition to the top of the Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in western Europe, will be the final of over a year of activities to support the charity organizations in their fight against child cancer. In June 2011 several employees of Berner will accept the challenge to reach the top of the Mont Blanc. Although the clime of the Mont Blanc will perhaps not be the most technical or difficult clime, the effect on the persons physical and mental condition will be tremendous. There for a good preparation schedule is mandatory for a successful end of this expedition.

The participants will be selected from Berner employees in the Benelux. The selection itself will consist out of several steps of which a fittest, a motivation interview, a medical exam and teambuilding weekend.
The selection processes will be monitored by Mountain Ne6twork, a professional organisation, a lead in the world of mountain climbing. They will also be involved in the preparing process and guidance of the participants to the top.

Before, during and after the selection the participants will prepare by individual preparations as well as group trainings on physical condition and muscle power. Ones the participants are known their progress can be followed on this website.
